U.S. Representative, Arizona District 6
Represents the district in the U.S. House of Representatives, which writes federal laws, approves the federal budget and taxes, and oversees the executive branch.
2-year term. The district covers much of southeastern Arizona, including Cochise, Graham and Greenlee counties and parts of Pima County (northern and eastern Tucson and suburbs such as Oro Valley, Marana and Sahuarita) and Pinal County; Arizona is using the same congressional map in 2026 that it used in 2022 and 2024. Republican Juan Ciscomani, Democrat JoAnna Mendoza and Libertarian Jereme Peters were each unopposed in their July 21, 2026 primaries, and Green Party candidate Gary Swing won his party's primary as a write-in with 29 votes and is listed on the general-election ballot. Michael Dorland (independent) is a certified write-in candidate and does not appear on the printed ballot.

Juan Ciscomani
U.S. Representative, Arizona District 6 (since 2023)Juan Ciscomani is a two-term Republican congressman and former senior adviser to Gov. Doug Ducey who immigrated from Mexico as a child and grew up in Tucson. He is seeking a third term, campaigning on his record of bipartisan work, federal funding for district projects, tax cuts and border security.
JoAnna Mendoza
Retired U.S. Marine; former congressional stafferJoAnna Mendoza is a retired Marine who served about 20 years in the Navy and Marine Corps, grew up in a farmworker family in Pinal County, and later worked as a congressional staffer and nonprofit leader. Her campaign focuses on lowering costs, health care, border security and restoring trust in government.
