U.S. House race · November 3, 2026

U.S. Representative, Michigan District 10

Represents the district in the U.S. House of Representatives, which writes federal laws, approves the federal budget and taxes, and oversees the executive branch.

2-year term. Open seat: no incumbent is running. The district covers southern Macomb County, including Warren, Sterling Heights and Clinton Township, along with part of eastern Oakland County, including Rochester and Rochester Hills. The seat is open because Republican Rep. John James is running for governor. In the Aug. 4, 2026 primaries, Michael Bouchard Jr. won the Republican nomination with about 72% of the vote (Robert Lulgjuraj had withdrawn but stayed on the ballot), and Christina Hines won the Democratic nomination with about 47% over Eric Chung and former Pontiac Mayor Tim Greimel.
