Represents the district in the U.S. House of Representatives, which writes and votes on federal laws, taxes and spending.

2-year term. Under the 2026 map, the district covers central and east-central Ohio, including all or parts of Licking, Muskingum, Knox, Fairfield, Delaware, Coshocton, Guernsey, Holmes, Perry, Noble and Monroe counties, with cities such as Newark and Zanesville.
