Represents Ohio's 7th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, which writes and votes on federal laws, budgets and oversight of the executive branch.
2-year term. Under the 2026 map, the district includes western and southern Cleveland suburbs in Cuyahoga County (such as Parma and Brook Park), Medina and Ashland counties, and part of Wayne County. Incumbent Max Miller (R) is seeking re-election; the Aug. 10, 2026 deadline to replace a nominee on the ballot has passed.

Max Miller
U.S. Representative, Ohio District 7Max Miller is a Republican in his second term representing the 7th District, a Marine Corps Reserve veteran and a former White House senior advisor to President Donald Trump. He serves on the Ways and Means and Foreign Affairs committees. His campaign emphasizes tax cuts, workforce development, law enforcement, border security, domestic energy and infrastructure.
Brian Poindexter
At-large member, Brook Park City Council; apprenticeship instructor, Ironworkers Local 17Brian Poindexter is a union ironworker, apprenticeship instructor and Brook Park city council member who won a crowded Democratic primary in May 2026. He grew up on Cleveland's west side and has worked in machine shops, kitchens, factories and trucking. His campaign centers on cost of living, workers' rights, health care and keeping jobs in the U.S.
