Key dates
- Tue, October 13, 2026: Voter registration deadlineLast day to register or update your registration to vote in the Nov. 3 election. Oregon does not offer same-day registration.
- Wed, October 14, 2026: Ballots mailedOregon votes by mail. Counties begin mailing ballots to all active registered voters.
- Tue, October 27, 2026: Recommended last day to mail your ballotUSPS delivery times vary. After this date, use a drop box or county elections office, or ask USPS staff at your local branch to hand-postmark the ballot.
- Tue, November 3, 2026: Election DayReturn ballots to a drop box or county elections office by 8 p.m., or mail them with a postmark no later than Election Day. Postmarked ballots count if they arrive within 7 days after the election.
