Key dates
- Sun, October 4, 2026: Voter registration deadlineOnline, email and fax registrations are due by Sunday, Oct. 4, and mailed applications must be postmarked by Monday, Oct. 5. In-person registration at most county offices ended at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2.
- Mon, October 19, 2026: Early voting beginsVote at any early voting center in your county, Monday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., through Oct. 31. Centers are closed Sunday, Oct. 25. You don't need a reason, but you do need a photo ID.
- Fri, October 23, 2026: Absentee ballot application deadlineApplications are due by 5 p.m. Voting absentee requires a qualifying reason, such as being 65 or older, having a physical disability, a work conflict, or being away from your county.
- Sat, October 31, 2026: Last day of early voting
- Tue, November 3, 2026: Election DayPolls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and anyone in line at 7 p.m. may vote. Absentee ballots must reach your county voter registration office by 7 p.m. Bring a photo ID.
