- Mon, October 5, 2026: Voter registration deadlineOnline registrations must be received by 4 p.m. local time; mailed registrations must be postmarked by Oct 5.
- Tue, October 20, 2026: Last day to request a mail-in absentee ballot onlineThe online request portal closes at 11:59 p.m. Mail-in absentee voting is limited to voters who meet one of the state's listed eligibility reasons.
- Wed, October 21, 2026: Excused in-person absentee voting beginsOct 21–23 and Oct 26–28 during normal business hours, for voters with one of the designated reasons.
- Tue, October 27, 2026: Last day to apply for a military-overseas ballotApplications must be received by close of business.
- Thu, October 29, 2026: No-excuse in-person early voting beginsThursday through Saturday, Oct 29–31, at locations set by each county board of elections.
- Sat, October 31, 2026: No-excuse in-person early voting ends
- Tue, November 3, 2026: Election DayPolls open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. Mail-in absentee ballots must be received by the county clerk before 6 p.m. on Election Day.
