Key dates

  • Tue, October 6, 2026: Voter registration deadline (mail and in person)
    After this, you can register or update online at RegisterToVote.NV.gov, or register in person during early voting or on Election Day (same-day registration).
  • Mon, October 12, 2026: Mail ballots sent by this date
    Counties mail ballots to active registered voters between Oct. 5 and Oct. 12.
  • Sat, October 17, 2026: Early voting begins
    In-person early voting runs Oct. 17 through Oct. 30 at any vote center in your county. Same-day registration is available in person.
  • Tue, October 20, 2026: Online registration deadline to still receive a mail ballot
    Voters who register or update online from Oct. 21 through Election Day must vote in person.
  • Fri, October 30, 2026: Early voting ends
  • Tue, November 3, 2026: Election Day
    Polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Same-day registration is available at vote centers. Mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, or returned to a drop box or vote center while polls are open on Election Day.
  • Sat, November 7, 2026: Deadline for mailed ballots to arrive
    By 5 p.m., the fourth day after Election Day; ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day.
  • Mon, November 9, 2026: Deadline to fix a mail ballot signature problem
    By 5 p.m., the sixth day after Election Day.
