U.S. Representative, Nevada District 1

Represents the district in the U.S. House of Representatives, which writes federal laws, approves the federal budget and taxes, and oversees the executive branch.

2-year term. The district lies in Clark County and runs from central Las Vegas toward its southeastern suburbs and some rural areas, including parts of Las Vegas, Paradise and Henderson as well as Boulder City. Four candidates are on the general-election ballot: Republican Carrie Ann Buck, Democrat Dina Titus, and Afzal "Bobby" Khan and Steven "Chap" St John, who are listed without a party (NPP).
