- Mon, October 19, 2026: Voter registration deadlineLast day to register before the November election.
- Tue, October 27, 2026: Deadline to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballotApplications must be received by your county election office by 5 p.m. You can also apply for, receive, fill out and return a mail ballot in one visit to your county election office.
- Tue, November 3, 2026: Election DayPolls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mail-in and absentee ballots must be received by your county election board by 8 p.m.; a postmark is not enough. Sign and write the current date on the declaration on the outer return envelope. The Department of State says ballots without a completed declaration will not be counted.
- Tue, November 10, 2026: Deadline for military and overseas ballots to arriveBallots must be submitted for delivery by 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 2 and received by the county election office by Nov. 10.
