Key dates
- Mon, October 19, 2026: Change-of-address deadlineAddress changes received by your county board of elections by this date must be processed in time for the general election.
- Sat, October 24, 2026: Voter registration deadlineRegistration applications, by mail or in person, must be received by a board of elections by this date.
- Sat, October 24, 2026: Deadline to request a mail ballot by mail or onlineAny registered voter may request an early mail ballot. The application must be received by your county board of elections by this date.
- Sat, October 24, 2026: Early in-person voting beginsNine days of early voting, Oct. 24 through Nov. 1. Hours are set by each county board of elections.
- Sun, November 1, 2026: Last day of early in-person voting
- Mon, November 2, 2026: Last day to apply in person for a mail ballot
- Tue, November 3, 2026: Election DayPolls open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 3 and received by your county board of elections by Nov. 10. You can also drop off your ballot at your county board office or any poll site in your county by 9 p.m.
